Been drooling over same since it came out. But first runs were low-count, they went FAST and all the retailers were gouging badly. $1300.00 ++ in some cases....

Finally things came around, found a shop 90 miles from us here on the mountain- small mom and pop that just opened, a colt Dealer and Gun Genie dealer. Worth the trip, too....they gave it to me for $850.00, it retails for $905.00

Got it home and filleted it. Old Slab-Sides was getting long in the tooth- still functions well and recently I got my first match win with it. But as said, after 40-50 thousand rounds, it's time to move it back a spot as a back-up match gun. And, one cannot have too many Colt 1911's, eh Bushboss????

So here's some pics and a story...

N.I.B.....for about 5 mins...

And as you see, goal accomplished. Two very similar pistols with the same fit, function and POA/POI.

Does this gun belt make me look fat???? Shocked Laughing Razz

Good pickup Stovey, you done well...kissed on the d1ck by a fairy mate. Sounds to me like you have found a good gunshop that you need to patronise on a more regular basis.

It's a slang term that means you really lucked out, had some really good luck, or in Stovey's case he lucked into a really good deal.

This "kiss of a faerie" is not to be confused with a similar act by a kiss by a member of the same gender. We'll leave San Fransisco ferries out of this one.

Being kissed by a faerie is a blessing of the highest order while being kissed by a ferry has a derogatory connotation that would bring one's manhood into question.

May we all be so blessed! Smile

Well stovey, I'm glad to see the quality of your tactical apparel has gone up a few levels since you and I shot on the Left-Coast. You are having too much fun there in AZ! Nice Pistols!
