Quick action, small population and being an island nation you lot were going to stop covid fairly effectively.
Not so for the rest of the world.
Add in a gestation period of betwen 14 and 30 odd days its bound to happen, the only current answer is isolate anyone who comes in, unless they are known to have been from an area that has had no cases in 4 weeks.
Ahh, the new "normal" is going to suck.

I said it right from the start....park the unused campervans on a big airfield/runway....enough of them unused...get army to cater and provide security...14 days in isolation when you fly into country and you will be shot on sight if you get out of campervan out of turn.....but folks said I was being draconian........
dont see it myself,if folks know what the drill is BEFORE they fly in...they have been warned and accepted the terms and conditions....
no govt would have the balls to do it,mores the pity.
currently the imports staying in motels at taxpayers expense...the 2 cases were let out( to attend funeral ???) and now 300 odd folks are in isolation because of it....
