people that build night vision and fish locators use metric too bushmaster

l was an ultrasonic tech in the mid to late 80s building built for Varo
just at the 3rd gen stage, in clean rooms. I personally built the:
pvs 7s that were 40mm
and anvis were 35 mm

in the clean room at Lowrance we used metric too.
not just scientists.

Once you get accustomed to metrics it's really quite simple because you multiply everything by tens as you go up...ten mm equals one cm....ten cm equals one dm....ten dm equals one meter (metre)

Only thing is I've trying to get accustomed to it for about 42 years now and it's still @##@@@ , but I'm sure I'll pick it up any day now
