|
My grandfather owns a Western Field Wards EJN757 30-06 that he bought many years ago from Montgomery Wards. His magazine clip for this rifle recently turned up missing and we're having a hard time finding one for it. I tried to look for the crossover reference to see who the manufacturer was but have had no luck. When doing a search on this particular model, no useful information is found. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the site morteg2!
I did a couple quick checks but they turned up nothing. Will try a couple more when I get home.

It looks like this one may be a bit tough to find parts for.
I checked my latest edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (1999-2000 issue). In their store brand cross-over reference (the same one used by Numrich Gun Parts) no model number like yours is shown under the Wards/ Western Field brand. The Hawthorn brand (?) uses “EJN†for a couple of their models but no # 757. Over the years, several firearms companies including Mossberg, Savage/Stevens, Marlin and Noble made firearms for Wards/Western Field. Mossberg and Savage seemed to be used most often.
Not much to go on, I know…
Maybe someone can shed some light… Good luck in your search!

I found that model on the internet as only a note that it did exist and that was all...
