Even before I check the stockmarket, I pull up "Ruger Forums" & Hunting Nut and scroll through the latest posts. It is another website characterized by mature members, salient posts and excellent photos of everything Ruger. Technical information is available for most Ruger firearms.
My favorite forums are "Revolvers" and "Gallery". Some of my favorite firearms bear the Ruger logo with a particular fondness for old Vaqueros, Ruger No1s, three screws and flat tops.
If you are a Ruger nut and have not visited this site, you may find it of interest.

Thanks Handloader, I didn't know that there was a Ruger forum! I've been a Ruger fan for a long time. My first handgun was/is a Super Single Six. It's a little worn after about 33 years but its the first gun I pull out when I'm teaching someone to shoot handguns. The last handgun I bought is a Ruger SR9 and my daughter has her eye on it...

Funny thing is I just started going to the Ruger forum last week. Yeah its a great site for Ruger lovers. I wouldn't call myself a Ruger nut since I own only two but I might get that way someday.

Ditto -- I have never owned more than two at a given time, but I started with a Single Six 5-shooter (yes, 5-shooter since it was before the safety modification that allowed the hammer to rest on a loaded chamber). I progressed to a Security Six in .357 Magnum. After a period of time when I did pretty much only black powder, I got a 10/22 which I still have, and added a Ruger P95.
All the Rugers have been great shooters and never gave me a bit of trouble (except when I fed some low-bid ammo to the 10/22 and the P95). I stick with a little higher quality on the .22 caliber and mostly handloads on the P95.
I am considering a P345 so I may have three Rugers for the first time.

Thanks for that info...I have quite a few Rugers, especially #1s, but never knew about a forum!

I will be the first to admit that I am a Ruger nut. I have quite a few of them, and all of them are accurate enough for hunting. I have a KM77VT that will shoot tiny groups as long as I do my part. I have never had any problems with them, and I lone their rings.

Sadly I do not have any Rugers in the house. But a Redhawk or Superredhawk in 44 mag or 454 Casull be a welcome addition. so would a mini-14 or a Hawkeye...or a #1.
Long ago I had a Ruger .243 but sold it before I ever fired it in order to get a 30.06.
