ok something more relevant...off to buy Duck hunting licence today...best part of $100 NZ but we have a long season down here so thats ok
will pick up a 3 pack of spoonie/shoveler Decoys while Im there $45 and they are in wrong coloration for us "down unders" they are Northern spoonies and are just all wrong!!!!! its the only way for us to get the right shape and I enjoy the repainting so a win win.

they were bundled together in pairs with a $59.99 price tag
dont think store owner was too happy when I pointed out catalog price of $45 for three Very Happy

Duck color? I find it strange that Elvis is trying to commandeer this thread with duck decoys.

Nice, Elvis. The hens are pretty close put more changes on the drakes! Yea, I'd enjoy saving the cash and painting those myself, too.

But, don't you just shoot them in your backyard after breakfast with your bathrobe on? Is that where you need the decoys?
