On the way home right now with 106 ducks and 1 swan in the cooler. Only needed 14 birds to finish out our trip but stopped at 12.

All cleaned up and in the freezer already. time for a stump by the fire and relive the memories of the hunt.

Why is it that the yummy goodness of the ducks won't last near as long as the off season. I am feeling very duck deprived today. They just sound so yummy right now.

Maybe you should have put a few of those ducks in the freezer mate...that way you would have some for the off season, if you could keep ya hands off them that is. Haha Haha Haha

Wow i can't believe this post is still on here. It's been 0ver 10 years ago. My old hunting dog Lexi is 13 now and been retired for several years. Not sure if she will even see another season. I haven't been back since then. i really think its time for another trip out there again.
