God bless you all on this glorious day of the birth of our lord and saviour.
Take the time today to appreciate the little things as well as the big that have come to pass.may you all enjoy time with family (woke up this morning with both our kids home in the house for first time in nearly six months) heading in to have bacon n egg breakfast with Bro in law and Mum in law/Nan.
for those of us who have lost loved ones..my heart and prayers go out to you....enjoy the day and if it gets too much just go outside and take a moment to remember the great times with your loved ones.
for those who have had close brush with the grim reaper this past year ...thank the good lord for getting you through and giving you more time with your loved ones..make the most of it guys,when the trumpet sounds/morepork-owl calls your name/your number comes up well thats it,no instant replay/start again.

puku is chocker block now....big breakfast of bacon n eggs
lollies for lunch
tea was ham steaks,bacon,mutton ham(cant let pigs have all the glory) and salad
dessert was HUGE cheesecake slice,pavalova (both hand made by SWMBO)with caramel swirl icecream
caught a beaut kahawai at local river mouth this arvo so its sitting in fridge coated with brown suger n salt ready to go into smoker for lunch tomorow......man you just got to love the tucker at this time of the year.

Like Elvis and dhc4ever, I too had a magnificent Christmas lunch...roast pork with apple sauce, roast chicken, roast veggies (potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, onions, sweet potato), green beans and baby peas.

Dessert was Tricia’s traditional homemade Christmas pudding, it has been hanging in the laundry for the past month happily maturing, with custard and ice cream. Of course, there were the obligatory coins in the pudding. I bought a number of pre 1946 Aussie coins (6 x sixpences and 6 x threepences) because they were 92% silver back then and don’t cause problems in the pudding. The kids love to find a coin and Tricia exchanges $2 for a sixpence and $1 for a threepence.

My daughter and I knocked off a nice bottle of 2002 Shiraz, but apart from that all I drank was chilled lightly sparkling water.

A damn fine day was had by all and I ended up bloated like a puppy on the tit.

That’s terrible mate, not good at all. Sad

Get yourself some zinc and echinacea tablets mate...they won’t cure, but they will help with the symptoms. Either that or get some good quality OP Rum into your gut mate. Kill or cure.

Hopefully you will be on the mend very soon mate and you can then hopefully enjoy time with Sue and your daughters. Party
