Just got back from taking the family to Hatteras Island for a week long vacation. What a blast. Did some fishing, caught a shark, a red drum, a flounder and a bluefin. And of course got BURNT!!! but all in all it was almost too much fun. Howdy

Glad that you had a good time.
Sounds like too much sun and heat for this Iron Ranger though.

You Southerners just LOVE to be able to cook ham on your car hood.
Walked outside this morning, it was 65 degrees, came inside to the air conditioner.
Give me 30 below zero, and I will freeze popsicles on my car hood and be a happy man.
I'm glad that you gentlemen are enjoying yourselves in this glorious of times, the summer. You are stupid

Eric Very Happy Very Happy

No Eric, that's not stupid. No No! In fact, that's being smart treating my wife to something that she wanted to do. Next time there's something I want to do there'll be no questions asked. So, now who's stupid? Point Eric

Hey Wiley, Yeah the weather was great except for wednesday evening, a little thunder shower went through but the rest was awesome. Very relaxing. You could see and hear the ocean from the top deck of the house we rented only 150 feet from the beach. Cheers

OK MR. Hoffman smarty pants.
Last Fri. I spent from 9:00am-10:00pm helping my Wife put on her Nephew's Grad Party. PURE HELL
Sat. I sat with my lovely watching our daughter play in a 4th grade softball tourney under 95 degree skies. PURE HELL
Yesterday it was all day doing the same. Have YOU ever had to watch 11yr old girls try to play softball for two days????? PURE YOU KNOW WHAT
Then after all of that little Miss Hitler made me go to a "pool party" for the girls, and got mad at your's truly for sneaking into the garage to watch NASCAR.
Fear of my wife made me do all of this.
I will grow a set of kahounas when hunting season starts.
She won't see me or our oldest son from Sept 1st till the end of November, and after the first of the year, we have a duck hunting trip planned down south.

After this weekend I guess Eric is Whip

Well done Hoff......sounds like you had an awesome time. Just be a little more careful of that sun mate......not good for you getting burnt like that. I know from bitter experience.

Cheers, Vince

Actually Eric, not only did I watch my 11 yr old son every game of little league baseball I helped coach the team.

I've also, on numerous occations, given up going fishing to take my family to the lake for a day at the beach swimming and having a picnic.

Not to mention the 3 open house grad parties of my now ex-girl friends kids that I helped put on. All of which were under the hot sun.

Hey Vince, Yeah I should be more careful. I thought I'd grabed my waterproof SPF 30 but, instead I had my sister-in-laws supossedly waterproof (NOT!!!) SPF 6.

hhaha used to live in south florida and worked in a steel and concrete building, temps would go over 120 plus no problem! then add in the cars moving in and out, so the exhaust just hung... now in pa with the humidity thats what kills you..

God must be on your side Hoff
I worked on constructing the set of the local play today.
The theater is the only place that has top notch air conditioning around here.
As I walk in, the City put a brown out into effect because of the heat. The air was turned off and the E-Man wilted again. Sad
Took a my son's baseball team to Amarillo Texas a few years ago for a National AAU Baseball Championship in July.
Best summer weather that I have ever seen. Hot but dry heat, and cool in the evening with a breeze.
I would move down there in a heartbeat in the summer. I fell in love with the place. Beautiful, and much nicer that it is here right now.

Gidday Eric.
Hunting season???? There ain't no season for what I hunt mate. I hunt feral critters. I fact we don't even have a deer season here in Queensland because deer are feral. We don't have a deer that is native to Australia.

In short, I can hunt 12 months of the year...all I need is a Shooters License.....I don't need tags or a hunting license...unless I want to hunt kangaroos and then I need both. Damn its a hard life.

Cheers, Vince
