wiersy111,

I am in central Minn by Brainerd and used to hunt NoDak heavily in the fall. It was incredible out there. Ducks and geese in the am, sharptails in the afternoon and sleep like a baby at night, knowing that the next day would be just as good if not better.

I miss those hunts, Dad is gone now and my hunting buddy moved south to work oil platforms...but I have great memories!

This is a golden opportunity for you to do for your young'uns what your Dad did for you mate...take the young'uns out to the same area and teach them to hunt mate. You will get the same pleasure from it that your Dad no doubt got from taking you out as a young fella.

Cheers, Vince

I agree Vince...wholeheartedly. Without making a confusing mess of it all, I just never had any kids and while I wish I had, it just never worked out. If I had though, I sure would have had em out there and have been showing them the wonders of the great outdoors. Smile
