#1: v2.0.9 released Author: DallanC, Location: UtahPosted: Sun Apr 17, 2011 7:40 pm ---- Several bug fixes in it. Two new "features" added as per requests.
First, there is a checkbox under the settings menu that allows disabling of the new version check. Several people take their laptops to the range and wanted the ability to start up the program without a network connection (it would still work, but it would time out after a short time). Now the ability to check for updates can be configured by the user. This has no impact on the PBPatcher program.
Secondly, Shotguns are now handled better in the caliber list. They show up in aggregate under their own "Shotgun" tree node. I am trying to get the auto sorting disabled so they show up in the order I add them to the tree, for now the only way to get them to sort properly is to pad the largest calibers with a 0 ie: ( 08 Gauge instead of the proper 8 Gauge).
#2: Re: v2.0.9 released Author: DallanC, Location: UtahPosted: Tue Apr 19, 2011 4:17 pm ---- 126.96.36.199 just got released.
It hopefully fixes the reports of the SafeStr2Double issue people were seeing.
It also, now will create a unique backup of the database.xml file for each day PointBlank is run, with up to 10 prior backups retained. This is to help prevent any data loss as some people have quite a few entries in their data.
