IMHO, not all of Mao is bad..

Sort of "do as I say, not as I do". I understand that. My parents taught me how not to smoke by example, they smoked and are having serious health consequences because of it. Being a young child watching my parents smoke, I smoked and am also having serious consequences, but I would always advocate not smoking. The words are not as bad as the actions, words on paper, (with no contextual background) get people elected. Propaganda of all types is still propaganda. It's the actions one takes that mark the man, not his words of wisdom.

On the other hand, capitalism (which I embraced by the way) believe in using all and every way, whether it is for or against mankind, for personal gain and power.
It is just done in the open instead of hidden agenda like the communism.

Heck, every believe has its good and bad, those who believe would made their own interpretation to suit their causes, be it good or bad..

I have worked for others and owned 3 of my own businesses. (thinking about starting another) I was a good and successful employee and two of the three businesses made good money. I have been on both sides. Once you learn the rules then you can go either way. I enjoyed working for myself and I even liked working with the public but the paperwork... Wow!
My wife said she will do the paperwork and I can run the business so this will work. I have a bit of market research to do and I will need to find a loan to start it but I think it is workable. I want to sell reloading components. I don't know about the guns but I want to sell components. I don't want to be a gunsmith but I may find one that I can do business with to help out those who want to do wildcats or rebarrel that old favorite but I don't want to do the labor. There are no reloading supply stores in town - other than a K-Mart that has a few pounds of powder, some primers and a poor selection of bullets. I want to be THE store for guys that reload. I want to be able to direct purchase from Hodgdon, Speer, Sierra, Barnes, CCI, and Winchester.
I want to have enough in stock that people know they can get what they need in my store. I have to talk to some of the businesses and banks and the department of licensing and probably the fire department to get all the information I can. Then I have to find a good location that is easy to access for folks from the four or five nearest towns. I will have to do some polling to find out what it is that folks in the area use.

Way to go Paul.
Don't forget the online side of any modern business, that will broaden your customer base.

good luck with that venture there are quite a few guys doing it sucessfully over here. magnum imports is the first that comes to mind and gunworks is another.. maybe check them out online it may give some insperation .

Was just looking at dollar exchange rates after getting on magnum imports web site. Those prices are huge! but the exchange rate isn't that bad. One US dollar=.995 AU or one US dollar=1.19 NZ

That was an eyeopener looking at prices of brass and other components, powder is about twice our cost over here and same with projectiles. No ammo and no firearms are listed (they don't have any past prices either). $72 for 1000 large rifle primers.

those prices are on par with the norm over here...you guys have got it good.

At the end of the day, there is a reason why a "far right" government like World War 2 Germany looks so similar to the far left governments of the world.

All political ideologies end up stinking the same.
