Whether these reports are credible or not I don't know, but if true they speak volumes about Obama's allegiance to our allies.
The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Not a likely scenario, but we rarely get the truth.
A backdoor deal with Iran? Not f€¥$¢®©\ likely, they've been one step from glazed carparking since 1980.
Shoot down a close allies aircraft? Or try to, the Isralies probably have the best trained and experienced airforce in the world with excellent equipment, so you wouldnt manage that without getting bit back quite hard.
Not to mention the further destabilizing effect on the middle east open conflict between the US and Isreal would bring.
Even ob isnt that stupid, god help you if he is.

I found quite a few mentions of this, but all are based on the Kuwaiti newspaper report. I did find references to a deal that Israel and Saudi Arabia are working on to allow Israel access to Saudi airspace so they may have found a way around Obama. Israel can't afford to be part of another of Obama's failures.

Whammy Obammy might be a fool...but I don't think he is that foolish. Not only would the Israelis possibly kick his butt in a conflict, they would no doubt call on all Jews worldwide to boycott anything and everything to do with Whammy and the US. Imagine what that would do to an economy.

Propaganda is all it is. The first victim in any conflict is the truth.
There are a lot of us guys and gals who have served in the forces and we all know the story that is told at home rarely if ever is consistant with what we observed first hand. I was told as I would imagine almost all of the veterans that to believe nothing of what you read and only 10 percent of what you actually see. and Let me be the first to admit that i haven't followed my own advice all of the time. Embarassed
