HUGE shout out to my brother ("Packout") for a outstanding job on this goat, it turned out far beyond any expectations and looks fantastic up close. Absolutely thrilled with it as is my wife (she cant stop petting it as she walks past LMAO).
I really love Mt Goat mounts and feel they really deserve full body treatment and luckily the stars were in alignment for us to be able to have it done. Now that it's completed, I definitely feel we made the right choice. Hey its "once in a lifetime" right?
Anywho some picts:
Seriously, a huge "Thank you" to my brother for doing this. To anyone in the Utah area considering taxidermy I really think you should give him a call or visit his website (www.sagebasin.com). Its well worth your time.

@Dallan: when your brother does some advertising nearby the Mt Goat-mountain, I think they might all come down to have their hair (fur) done. Never seen such a clean goat. Could be used for advertising washing powder.
What about the smell?
Since he's still seducing your wife, there must be something in the air

Thanks Dallan!! Great goat and your other mounts as well. That goat reminds me of going to the Safari Club International Museum in Tucson (don't know if their web site shows it) but they have a display from floor to ceiling of a man made rock with goats of all kinds on it. It's like 2 1/2 maybe 3 stories tall and you walk around the base of it, it's pretty elaborate. That goat of yours would easily fit right in there.

Thanks everyone, Normally we wouldnt have even considered doing fully body due to the price but things all just fell into place for it and it became a reality. Now seeing how it turned out, I really happy we did it.

The Cabelas has the same kind of display, a big mountain like thing in the center of the store with all kinds of critters on it. I used to be super impressed with all the animals, their sizes etc etc... then later I found out pretty much everything is fake. Cast antlers/horns not real ones, they stretch out capes to make everything look a size or two bigger than they normally would. They have a Mt Goat mounted there that just looks ridiculous to me now because of its size.
Anywho yep, my brother certainly has a talent for this stuff and he does great work. I posted this around on a few sites to give him some free advertising. I was at his shop Friday and he was just getting started on a full size grizzly bear thats going back to a lodge in Alaska... I cant even begin to wrap my brain around the shipping charge for something like that, let alone the full taxidermy fees. Cant wait to see it done though!

Hardly any odor at all, and most of that is just misc smells from the fake rock background and paint. The goat itself has no smell. (Thank goodness... I cannot say the same for Pronghorn Antelope! Those horns stink forever)

Awesome, your gonna need a bigger house, or a pole building to turn into a museum.
