I consider you folks friends so I wanted to tell you that my wife passed away last week after a long fight with diabetes. She was suffering for several years and is now at peace. If you get a chance sometime maybe you can donate a little to a diabetes organization to work towards ending it.

Very sorry to hear that, PS. Hard to find the words in a situation like this, but you are indeed among friends here.

Mike, please accept heartfelt commiserations and prayers from Patricia and myself. The loss of a life partner is devastating mate. She is in a better place and no longer suffering. Hang in there mate, and remember, we are here for you when you need support.

My wife Patricia suffers Type 2 Diabetes, so I understand what you have been through. We regularly donate to Diabetes Australia for that very reason.

It's hard to find the right words on such occasions... be strong and cherish all good memories, thoughts and good work. I'm sure she'll continue to give you the best advice at the right moments.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine how difficult that must be. It's always a small condolence knowing that they were suffering in life and no longer have to endure that, but I'm not sure it makes the loss any easier.

I'm sure that was a long hard battle, but now it's over and you can keep her memory in your heart forever. Sorry for your loss and the hardships you two endured. What a cruel disease to try and cope with day to day and I know many many people suffering from it. Pray it doesn't happen to me and you. There's plenty more adventures to behold and no need for short-cuts through this life. Praise the Lord give us the long-haul!
