Kinda doing some recovery of my own. Gee mate, that’s a mix of good and bad news...not good to loose a body part...but hopefully things will be better for you now. As for the coyotes...get yourself some sort of a rest that you can sit on the window sill or balcony railing and have at ‘em mate. There is one out here that is designed to be used on an open car window when spotlighting or shooting from a car. One would be easy to make from foam rubber and would be ideal. The big lower piece in the pic has earth magnets embedded to hold it steady on the car door. The top piece sits on top, although it too may have magnets in it to hold it steady.

First cataract surgery, on left eye, done on MAR 12 without any problems. Before surgery my vision was 20/400, after it was 20/80 and should keep improving as it heals up. The thing I noticed most at first was the change in color perception. The right eye now looks like a slightly muddy yellow.

The insurance company has apparently balked on doing the right eye now but hopefully I can get it done soon because I'm having some trouble with depth perception. I'm not crazy about reaching into an electrical cabinet with 600 volts at the moment. Luckily my coworkers understand and take up my slack.

Grab your insurance weenie, cover one eye on it, give it a screw driver and open the HIVAC cupboard for it and tell it what to do.
