Sakouser,
Welcome to the nut. You can tell us anything - we listen well and will let you know when you made the wrong choice... I don't think I have hever heard anyone say that. We anyway there are only 2 CIA agents on line and one NSA agent - we're just not important enough to get much attention. Even after I put up my small SAM site I only got one call. I assured them it was for ducks and geese and got the nod to go ahead.
That's as close as I get to a joke.
Welcome to the best group of folks on the net. We learn quickly and share what we know fairly easily. Welcome!

Thanks guys!
I use anything that goes bang but my go-to is an ancient (1950’s?) Sako Finnscout 22 With 4X40 Gold Crown and bought new 308 Finnwolf (can’t be arsed getting it out the safe to check the make) with a 3-9 scope.
Just starting out with a 7.62x39 suppressed to use up all that ammo I was left with after our illustrious government decided I didn’t need the rifles I had that used that ammo.
Oh and I’m 65 years young so slowing down just a little (compared to when I hunted lots)

Seems like we have another KAY ONE DUBBYA ONE on board The Nut...welcome Sakouser...you’ll not find a more jovial, easygoing bunch of guys in the WWW. As the guys said, grab a beer and pull up a stump. Feel free to jump in with your knowledge and experience...you won’t be condemned or laughed at...unless you shoot twigs. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to take your bolt with you when going hunting it can be embarrassing, for a very looong time. If you haven’t already noticed, we love taking the mickey outa one another here...it’s a lotta fun. Oh, and a Elvis usually has a goodly supply of Velcro gloves if you’re that way inclined.
You’re amongst a similar age demographic here (I’m 68), and we are all slowing a little. Remember, the older we get, the better we used to be.

just a note at these recent new memberships:
is the South (of our planet) rising again?
or is it simply a sign of "Power to the Nuts!" in general?
