C hanges in the weather can sometimes leave us experiencing aches and pains or just shaking our heads in disbelief.
On Jan. 15, 1972, 53 years ago, a weather observer in Loma, Montana, measured a morning temperature of 49 degrees. That sounds warm for mid-January, but that's only half the story.

T he previous morning, the same observer recorded a low of 54 degrees below zero. That 103-degree temperature change is not only America's highest 24-hour temperature change, but it's also a world record, according to weather historian Christopher Burt

That’s incredible mate. Shocked It must be climate change at work, has to be, just ask the climate naysayers.

Seriously though, a 103° difference is really amazing, and would certainly have the people guessing and on their toes. Michelin Man outfits one morning, bikinis the next. Razz Cool

Been pretty warm here the last few days as well…38° C (100.4° F) in my Rumpus Room…and thunder storms at night, with accompanying humidity all the next day. Mad Some places are reporting tennis ball sized hail. I can’t wait until Summer is finished…I hate the heat.
