Does any one have one or any of these and if so what do you think of it? I think they are very interesting and I am going to see if any of the gun shops around here have any for me to check out.

Sorry Bushy, not available in .30-30 win. Sad

I've got the T/C Encore 209 magnum 50 cal. ML, The Pro Hunter is a step up from that. real nice gun, My Encore shoots as tight of groups as my rifle at 100 yds. I use 130 gr. powder and a 300 gr. Shock-Wave sabot. 1900 FPS.

Thanks Glockman, I was thinking that I would mostly be interested in the muzzle loader but you never know I would maybe like some other barrels as well, it does have several options.

Ya, $800. CVA makes a break open for around $300. The Optima Elite, The Elite is the only one of the Optima line that has interchangeable barrels. My brother bought one this year, they might be a little more than $300, that's at Dealers cost. I can't find anything wrong with it, well made and shoots great. CVA has had a bad name in the past, but I think they are making better quality guns. The one he got was a fluted stainless barrel, plastic stock. 29" barrel. He liked it so well he bought another one but in .270 cal, He could have bought just the barrel, but he wanted another gun. Check em out.
