Well after a LONG time with having this issue I finally filed my first complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am posting it here as a warning for others not to do business with the person.

From November till today, I did not receive my radio (Cobra 148, Peak & Tune, Puck Mount, Predator 10K Antenna, some co-ax) or my money back from him. And all I have gotten is excuses from him so far. I suggest you stay away.

If you paid with credit card or PayPal, you should be able to protest and get your money back.

Paypal won't accept a protest that is longer then 3 months old, nor will they accept a protest that was done on any site but Ebay nowadays anyways.

I had an issue with a refund from a custom ammo company. It was coming up on three months, I was getting lots of excuses like you, but they still hadn't refunded my money. I called the credit card company to verify how much time I had before raising it as an issue, they told me 6 months. However, I got a call the next day from the company and my money refunded that week. I have to believe the credit card company stepped in even though I didn't ask them to. It can't hurt if you send PayPal your log and ask for their help. What do you have to loose. I don't think I'd use PayPal again if they don't help out.

I very rarely use PayPal. I will give the BBB.org method a run now. I will check with PayPal though, thanks.

That's a bit ordinary mate. Not sure how things work over there, but we have a Govt organisation called Consumers Affairs, and they will step in on your behalf if necessary.

Might want to consider filing a complaint with the States Attorney General. Good Luck getting it resolved.

He is attempting on a 2nd CB radio forum to tell me he will ship the equipment again, that he has reordered it and is waiting for it, without telling me when he actually expects to ship. None the less I made it clear its refund or nothing as I had a legally binding contract from him to refund my money when he said he would in a week on April 28th.

I've actually already talked to a lawyer, he was the 2nd person to suggest the BBB. None the less if it does not get resolved I will let my lawyer handle it.

If he is a member of the BBB it will work - you will get your money. If he is not a member then contact the Attorney general and report it as fraud. You can file a police report and tell him that if he returns your money you will be forced to drop the charges. (whether you actually can drop them after filing is something you will have to take up with the police afterwards)

Lawyer told me exactly that Paul. But said to file the complaint with the BBB and then after the 30 days if the BBB route doesn't cut it. He'll contact Michigan's Attorney General to file fraud charges.

Just a update, after the more recent events since my last post he agreed to reship the radio, provide proof with pictures that he has the equipment and will be providing me a UPS tracking number today when he ships it.
