Just curious as to the progress on with the new version. Are there any projected completion dates? I am anxious as this new version sounds too good to be true.
Thanks

You may have to wait 'til Monday for Mr. Dallan...But he'll be along by then...

Enjoy v1.8 until Dallan finishes working on v2.0. Dallan has a real job and works on the new version in his spare time sharing that time with his wife and child and working in some hunting when he can. Dallen is working on it and when it's finished it will be announced here when it is posted for downloading. Before that happens there will be some evaluation and debugging testing. But when it is ready it won't be a secret. It will be the topic of conversation for a few weeks.

Hey Dallan,
Are you going to surprise us for Christmas with 2.0? No pressure, I just had seen anything posted for a while in regards to the progress so I thought I would take this opportunity to check in.
Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks Albert.
I think that I downloaded wine some time ago.
I will do it in the morning and let you know how it works.

Has anyone heard from Dallan about 2.0's progress? Would it be possible to write a MAC version also?
Thanks

I think popgun answered you right up there in the third post.
I reiterate

gelandangan,
I mean no harm, and am not trying to pressure Dallan in anyway. I respect the work he put into 1.8 and think it is one of the best ballistic programs I have seen. I am just excited and curious to see the new version. I have yet to see an answer to my question. When it is done, its done............is not an answer.
No worries though, its guys like you that prevent me from posting and you have just reiterated why.

Well then...Maybe you need to pull up a stump, grab a beer and join in. You might discover the other side of us...Just might....We have never turned anyone away. We have had words with each other on ocasion, but we got over it. And he's still here...Aren't you Tracker...
We have a cruel and mean boss here (Mr. Dallan [still hasn't deleted Vinces string like I asked]...), and we give him a wide berth... We all are waiting very patiently for 2.0...But we are aware that he works for a living and has a family. His time is tight as you would know if you have children and want to hunt too. Sometimes he even gets a chance to join us on here, but not as often as we would like. He will get the job done, but we MUST have patience...Otherwise just keep lurking and like gelandangan (gets a bit testy sometimes, but he can't help it. He's old) said...You will know when the chatter starts about 2.0...

Reminds me of a conversation I had with my CPA... who also happens to be my wife. She had a spreadsheet with financial projections out another 40 years. I asked her what happens at the end of the spreadsheet? Her loving answer is, "You have to die."
If that was a threat or a promise I am glad I have another 40 years to find out.

Bushy that was regarding the "all good things come with time" comment. I have noticed that most regard you has having the most time and thus goodness under your belt. You are thus "the best".
nevermind.....forget it....poor attempt at calling you old and the sort. Have a good day.
