I just bought a savage 24f .223 over 12gauage off of gunbroker, won't get the gun until next week. The gun has a full ckoke, but I would like a super full that will handle the hevi-T shot for coyotes. I can't find what choke this gun uses, is it a "savage" choke or will others such as win-choke interchange? Any information would be appreciated.

Personally I have no knowledge of this firearm, although Savage have always had a reasonable sort of a name out here in Australia.

If you are having difficulty getting extra chokes for the shottie, why not consider having custom chokes fitted. I know a lot of shooters out here in Oz do this. Modifications to accept Briley chokes are very popular, especially amongst the Trap and Skeet shooters.

Briley Chokes

I don't know anything about the chokes, but I have one with 22mag over 20 gauge, and it's a hell of a shooter.
