After I got the program up and running with your help I transferred my old data and started adding new data. Everything worked fine...until I tried to print. When I click the print button a window opens very briefly saying something like "generating preview...page 1 of document," then it closes and nothing prints. Control panel tells me nothing is in queue to either of my printers. What am I missing?

Sounds like a bug in there somewhere. Email me your database.XML and I will take a look at it (I delete any submitted databases immediately after fixing the reported issues)

My mistake. This morning my computer told me it lost contact with my UPS. Troubleshooting that I found a USB hub disconnected. Fixed that, then tried to print from PB. It worked. I should have tried printing from another program before I asked for help. Sorry to waste your time.

Awesome, glad its working for you! I looked at it briefly but couldnt find a problem... was planning to dig into it later today. Now I dont have to worry about it, I can fix a couple of other bugs I know about.

I'm trying to install PB on an older "inhereted" laptop. When I try to run the patcher, I get the following application error message:

"the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application"

This machine is running Windows XP, and I've downloaded and installed everything that Windows Update suggested. Is there something else I need on this machine?

Make sure you have the latest "net framework" installation.

Microsoft Net Framework

The .NET framework is apart of service pack 3... so if you didnt have it, you should concider installing SP3. It will fix alot of other XP issues.

I updated to SP3, but PB still didn't work.

Once I downloaded and installed .NET Framework 3.5 I was able to get PB working.

Thanks for the help!!

DallanC

Thank you for all your work on PB.
