OK... problemo #1
Under the "Misc" menu bar item of PB 2 is an option to 'register'

I get the following error message when I try to use this option to register.

"No valid PointBlank registration found for the user name and password supplied above"

This seems to indicate it is checking the website here for user info.
Is this an active feature or future planned registration routine?

What am I missing? I obviously registered on the website and know my U/N P/W. Does an admin need to ok me for beta testing or something?

Haha I wondered if anyone would notice that, it went in with the last version. Let me state right up front... PointBlank is and will remain free for everyone.

There has been alot of interest among people to donate to keep costs down for the website and other things. I am adding a couple features for people that do register. The mechanism to check if its registered or not, but the I still need to complete the system on the website to return said info back to PointBlank.

So its halfway implemented currently... the PointBlank side is done, I have to finish the website side. Ignore it for now.

One other thing, this is the final step remaining to complete before the beta finishes and the "expiration date" system gets removed.

Hopefully I can get around to finishing it within the next week.

There must be a bug in there somewhere... I will dig into this tonight and figure out the problem / get it fixed. Apologies for the inconvienence.

Ok it seems fixed. It was a minor error on the website that generates the key that gets downloaded. Let me know if you still have a problem.

Just tried to download reg key and it will not do so. I have cookies engaged, I am registered with PB, I have even turned off my firewall and antivirus software and still can not register key. Any ideas? Would like to use this software.

I don't know if your still having problems but if you are, you might want to pm DallanC and he will give you an answer.

I need to change the wording and explain this better. People are confusing the website registration with pointblank donation registration. Donations are not required in any way to run the program.

I do appreciate those that have donated to help with website costs though!

PointBlank is checking with the HuntingNut website for donation information, it isnt finding any and gives you that message.

I have been trying to get the registration key for Point Blank for several days also. It keeps telling me that I am not registered. Does anyone know what is going on? I think I am doing everything correctly. Thanks.
