Its that day again..

So guys, RUOK?

Personally Im 'OK.

Camera business is slowing down, so now I branched out to make knives and knifemaking supplies such as stamps touchmarks and etching equipment.
This new business is surprisingly good thankfully.

Life is good, been out hunting about every 3 months or so..

Dove / Rabbit season opened here, took my boy out and he shot a bunch of both, and both made for a mighty fine meal.

Got muzzleloader deer season opening on the 23rd so I am starting to get ready for that.

Not if Mrs Lester is looking.
Hopefully it all went well, the op not the nurse chasing.
Over here they try and get you up the day after and if nothing splits, fails or falls off you go home on day 3 or 4.

Pete, now you make me worry more... or is it 3-4 days/by pass so that we have to be patient for 20 days?
Let's hope Dee doesn't forget to feed the ducks in his pont, so that he can start hunting as soon as he gets home. In live or you hunt or you get hunted... I still prefer to be a hunter...

So Lester, send us asap an owl, please.

Aloys,
3 to 4 days is the aim, however it all depends on patient response, infection or leaks etc.
Lester will be feeling like he's been through a cement mixer full of bricks.
It will be at least 6 weeks until the graphs and sternum are fully healed.
I hope he well enough to post something next week.
Does anyone have a way to contact him other than thru the forum?

Yup...I'm doing OK. Sitting at my brother's place, enjoying a quiet beer and relaxing, or trying to anywayz.

Been wondering about Lester myself...he is strong so he should be on the mend.

Mate...I would love to, but unfortunately I will be on an aircraft heading back to Brisbane. If I had known about it about a month ago when I booked the flights I would have planned for it mate. BUGGER

There is plan to have a meet in Brissy too, but not ready yet.

Tuning up for quail past few weeks. Been busting a lot of clay's. We have a nice spot 5 mins from the shop. The puller throws a bird, another buddy flings or rolls one with the hand thrower. Talk about random doubles! Eye is good now, I'm hitting 90-95% now from an unmounted gun, in fact, holding it with one hand with the butt on my hip! I'm ready for Friday opener. We busted two plus boxes of clays Sunday. That's 180 clays for you Euro-boys. Razz

Tank is on the right, Elvira is next to him...then a CZ tactical my buddy is good with, then a Sears home-chopped coach gun my other buddy is DEADLY with- he is 100% with it, not one missed bird and a crazy nice Cynergy.

We picked up all our hulls and others peoples hulls and a lot of trash some a-holes left behind. I go up there each Sunday to police it now.
