Got a kick out of the hot and cold water valves for heater control!! Some people I guess have way to much time on their hands.

You know what is the scariest part of this....these are just the "modifications/repairs" that can be seen. Just imagine what is hiding away unseen.

Here we call ingenuity. Way back before electronic ignitions and when cash was scarce my buddy used a pull tab from a beer can to replace the centre button on his distributor rotor. It lasted for several months. Another good reason to drink beer is the empty cans can be used to fix a exhaust pipe or a blown radiator hose or as a base for body filler. In a pinch a tab will replace a blown fuse. A quarter cup of shine is a good gas line anti-freeze. The best one I have been involved in was when my friend got married. We saved all the beer cans from the stag and tied them together with line. We then hid them under his bridal car. Now I know cans behind the car isn't new but several hundred is a bit unusual. The bride was a bit miffed but my mate thought it was hilarious. His brother was best man and when he did the toast to the bride he and the rest of us downed a can of beer. Our plan was to tie them together and then pin them on his jacket tail during the dance. One look from his mom was enough for us to give up the idea.
