2002 Monster Cow elk-3119 viewsThis is my favorite elk picture, I just love how it both shows the size of the animal as well as the single best method of extraction I've ever discovered.

Lucky for me it was right at the edge of the field in the background and was able to pull it down to the road with the 4wheeler.

The only bad thing is this cow as as tough as it was big... I swore I'd never shoot one this big and old again :)

2002 WY Antelope-864 viewsThis was a very interesting pronghorn due to how its horns layed out so wide. We tried hard to get my wife a shot at it but it wouldnt cooperate with us. After trying a couple attempts to get in range it ran right up over a hill right at me and I took a single shot dropping it.

Wifes 2002 Wyoming Pronghorn-848 viewsHeres one of the oldest antelope I've seen harvested. He was undoubtably mean as he'd broken off his flags and had countless scars on him from fighting. We snuck up on this bug from about half a mile and she got off a shot from within 100 yards dropping him.

Note how dark the nose and cheek patches are, hes one old bugger for sure.
