Thanks, hunterjoe.
Reloading for long-distance shooting is a different ball game than shooting deer out to 300 yards. Everything is critical and accuracy with small standard deviations is key.
It's going to be a long hot summer. Got to find some good long-distance shooting ranges.

Went back to the range today to try out Varget and BL-C(2) loads. Things are starting to come together.

Vince,
Prairie Dogs are little butty suckers. Once I get on them, I wanna be sure they go away. I'm finding out that many ranchers here will let you on their place (as long as the cattle aren't around) just to try to eliminate some of them.
I have a few places in mind, I just gotta get there and start knocking on doors.

For lighter bullets I have found 26.5 -27.”gr W748 with a 52 or 53 gr bullet shoots sub moa in about any AR I shoot it in. OAL of 2.240”. With Varget fill up the car with 27.0-27.2gr.
For a 1:9 try 68-69 gr bullets 24.0 gr of H4895 or 23.8 gr of IMR8208XBR again loaded 2.240”.

hunterjoe21 - I see this is an old post, I hope you have it figured out by now, but if you didn't or want to make adjustments. Watch the video in the attached link.
