Keep the bullets pointing straight with something that is cheap and available to an arms factory?

Otherwise I have no clue whatsoever.

that middle one looks like a great one for a subsonic/smoothbore load..no show of a tumble,the one on the right,they do something similar for the .12ga.

The white part is a discarding sabot, as used on a much larger scale with APFSDS tank rounds.
It allows light, a sub calibre projectile to be accelerated to high velocity & retain it at distance.
