You wanna bet that the Mexican president picked through those guns and kept what he wanted before destroying the rest? And I bet those grenade launchers, etc. didn't come from any American local gun store.

Looks like the DOJ can no longer say it was just some rouge agents out of the Arizona office that were responsible !!!
Texas field office appears to be running a similar gun walking scam.

They named three men out of 20 defendants, but they didn't say how they were affiliated. Just gun smugglers I guess. Oh well as long as the feds are off the hook? is that what they're tryin to do? Seems to me they were tactfully set up and now blamed. I'm sure the media will square this one on the 20 defendants (who ever they are). Because of the botched sting, we have our man? Wierd conclusion and not the one I'm waiting for.

Punkin...I am prepared to bet that NONE of the guns were destroyed. After the Mex President had his pick through them, then it would have gone down through the pecking order with each guy getting a turn. And lets not forget the corrupt officials who would have arranged for the crime lords and drug cartels to have a look/pick as well.
Am I wrong in thinking that the Mexican Government cannot be trusted?
