Yup...Well here I go again, high-jacking. Tried to send you a photo of the fall colors here, but the site wouldn't let me. Damn...!!

This is looking down (not up) from the barn (that you have been neglecting).

Oh no...No leaf raking around here. I just let the wind blow...them to the neighbors property. I didn't buy this place to weed flower beds, gardens or rake leaves. That's why I decided to cultivate wild roses. No weeding, bug spraying or pruning.

I don't even rake after mowing. I ripped the mulcher out of the mowing deck discharge.

The horses eat the grass that I blow into their yard.

Figured out how I'm gonna water proof my target backstop. Figure a .357 magnum 140 grain SJHP at 1600+ fps into a clear lacquer spray can with no "fizzz" left otta do it.

BACK ON TOPIC........ Confused

Gong's are done. 12, 10, 8" AR500 steel, 3/8" thick. Legs slide out, lil tape to roll 'em up, pop it all in a 48" zippered duffle with my mat and it just that fast. Literally.

Me likey, not too shabby fer home made if I do say so myself.

Rollin' up some loads for the big boys rat nah uh-huh. Very Happy

Thank you sir! Left the chains long in case I have any wrap-around issues, doubt it though, the plates and chains are pretty heavy so...fingers crossed. I got extra chain and bolts for that center hole for drag chains if necesarry. We shall see! I like how it all just plops into my bag and it's up and gone to the next spot- just like that.

Just a reminder, don't fill that plastic jug with anything if you want to keep if for any lenght of time.

Meh- it's fine. Use it for recycling waste oil mostly. Quick swish with fuel and it's good to. Had it for at least 8 years or more.

Just hung them all from the scale and weighed them- big to small: 37# 30# and 25# not including the drag chain for the small one. Took up some slack in the small one's chain so it wouldn't wrap round the top bar, should be good to go. Whole thing kinda has a little give to it all so that'll help disapate energy- or come unglued and fly out into the desert. I'll wrap some tape around the nipples and legs where it goes in the frame for insurance in case it gets airborne so they dont slip out but I think I'll be fine for 200y plus, only if I have is the small one with the 30 cals @ 100y. One final test to go...live fire. Fingers crossed and stay tuned!

I hate to be a critic on such pretty targets (nice and shinny. Too bad you plan to smudge them all up with lead.), but...Shouldn't the hole for the "drag chain" be on the bottom? It would seem to me if you attach a chain there it might upset the target, especially when hit.

Well I guess you'll have to hit them first. Right? Laughing Razz
