$39.99 for a box of 20. Followed me home so I can poke 3 into target n see if rifle or my loading is still as good as it was. Had to think hard but think its about 18 years since I last brought ammo for the old smoke pole. New brass will be nice too.

I bought a bunch of 130 gr. Core-Lokts cheap and was happily surprised at how well they shot despite being a little ugly. They're also fantastic deer, groundhog and crow medicine.

Good shooting there amigo ! The Core-Lokt bullet has always been a quite repectable game bullet as well. The 2 of you should be quite happy together ! Hug

well I eating a lovely venison casserole tonight that SWMBO had cooked slowly in the crock pot all day from some scrappy shoulder meat from the stag we got a few weeks back. I cut the cubes of meat from a bag full I had put aside for mince n sausages they were nice solid chunky pieces. well imagine my surprise when Im eating my tea to find a lump of bone Embarassed .... hang on thats not bone but a perfectly mushroomed 130 grain corelokt projectile Shocked !!!! she had bored through from a russian heart shot and must have ended up in the front quarter or had been through both shoulders and stopped inside the far one??? more likely the first I feel. funny I had looked for but couldnt find projectiles while cutting him up. it was perfectly peeled back with jacket right inside out around a good 8-9 mm core it weighs 87.5 grains so very happy with that.
the hind I shot had nice through and through wound channel and sure wasnt going anywhere. yip I do like these projectiles...
I told you lot I eat right up to the bullet hole!!! Very Happy

Good show Elvis. Having read several books and articles by the late Jack Connors I can see his admiration for the 270 is well founded.
