HHhmmmm...... Authorize.net/CyberSource is the one who wrote an e-mail to Hyatt's, not Visa. Although it's a subsidiary of Visa. So maybe the Cabela's Visa card is alright to use to buy guns (as long as the purchase is not on-line)? Well the NRA credit card is Visa...Cabela's is Visa...ok ok if this made sense it wouldn't be ObamaLand now would it? I even found an online credit card processor that specializes in firearms HERE and interestingly they accept Visa!!

It's too early in the morning...I have to get ready for work..something's fishy and smelly with this whole thing.....smells like O

Was thinking about this at work today !!!
When I got home I re-read the article and confirmed my thoughts.

Authorize.net is a credit card processor. When you agree to accept major credit cards as a retailer you do so through a credit card processor not the credit card company itself. These processors usually accept all major cards.

I think some of the confusion is due to the fact that Visa happens to own this processing company.

There has been a lot of processors of late giving the firearms industry the brush off and refusing to do business with them.
The most notable more than likely would be the McMillan Group International.
After Bank of America dropped them Kelly McMillan launched McMillan Merchant Solutions. A card processor dedicated to catering to the firearms industry.
