Out here, it's not so much as land as it is where you live. Sure, you can have a big chunk of land (few hundred acres even more) and only pay a thousand or so bucks for all of the land........However, if you put any kind of house/cabin/trailer and have to use ANY state/city resource (water, gas, electric, sewer) then your property is rated differently and your taxes will sky rocket!

A friend of mine is having a house built in a city called Farmington Hills, his house is about 10,000 square on aprox 3/4 acre and after it's all said and done those taxes are close to 6 figures

My daughter was just looking over my shoulder and saw that I have reached the dizzy heights of a Super Member. You'll never guess what she called me?!?! A Post Whore !!!!!

I'm devastated. I thought that I had achieved something great....no damn it....I have.

I think that she has been on the Pushbike forum site Farkin' too long.
Can't see the sense in riding "Sit down and Run", well not for the distances she does anyway.
