Do not apply for your old age pension. Apply to be a refugee.
It is interesting that the federal government provides a single
refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can
get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2, 470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who, after
contributing to the growth and development of Canada for
40 or 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00
in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Let's send this thought to as many Canadians as we can and
maybe we can get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the
pensioners up to $2,470.00 , so they can enjoy the money they
were forced to submit to the Canadian government for those 40
to 50 years.

You need to fly into Miami Int Airport and have a 5 hour layover, go out and get into a cab....first the Jamacan picks you up, he has a license man, then Hatian picks you up, he got license, then the off duty cop from Cuba picks you up. The restaurant you go to is full of Mexicans and Arabs.

The best you get is broken English, even from the cop. But the cop wants to know if all limbs are still attached cause the Hatian dropped you off, not on the bad side of town, but the nightmare place itself. Damn, all my guns were back at the airport......

Yeh, we have social security, welfare, medicare, medicade and a cavalcade of aid. Not a sign of Vasoline anywhere.

I have had the good fortune of being able to do a lot of traveling both in this country and a bunch of others due to my 42 years tied to the Navy in some way or another...Broken English? How about pigeon English. and a variaty of different attempts to replicate English. However when in their country I tried to learn some of their language. Except when I was in Canada...There I made them speak English...

If you made them speak English in Canada you did ok Bushy? They didn't make you speak French?
