Up here in Ontario, the last caddy I purchased cost me $380 for MIR 6064.
Thats 8 pounds of powder. A caddy lasts me about one year.

Mooooose3,
Welcome to the Forum. I believe 8 pounds of powder for $380 works out to about $47.50 a pound. Why is powder so expensive where you are? All the best...
Gil

For any of you guys in the Pa. area, Shydas in Lebanon has most of Hodgdon's 8 lbs for $109. Pound containers in the 14-17 range.

And...the Stevens 200 rifles for $229. I picked up two 7-08s yesterday.

Blaserman,
True, $380.00 Canadian converts to $319.34 in U.S. dollars and 8 pounds of powder at that rate would cost $39.91 U.S per pound. Still a lot more than I pay. All the best...

I really envy you guys your prices. I bought a can of IMR4350 yesterday, and it cost me $35.00. Or prices up here are really ridiculous. Prices on bullets are no better. Best wishes.

I guess I am lucky when it comes to purchasing powder. The link below is to the shop that I buy my powder from. I only live about 20 miles away. From the prices I see that all of you are paying I guess when it comes to powder I got it pretty good. The link lists the prices but for example all Hodgon powder is either $15.95 or $16.95 a pound, much better than the $20.00+ I see that some of you have to pay.

Blaine, I'm guessing you live somewhat close to Emersons?
I'm in Lee, NH but could be worth the stop next time I get out for Snow Shoe Bunnies. I'll give em a call. Thanks for the heads up.
