Now that we've had a little warmer temps, some snow has melted in the Pdog towns. Slogged my way through the snow drifts yesterday to a nice small town. Had some great shooting with the .223. Lots of dogs out.
My favorite time of the year to shoot. No bugs, snakes or people around.
Always look forward to the first Pdog shoot of the year. Very Happy

Gophers are out here and lots are getting run over on the highways etc already.

Been shooting a few myself with the 22.250, did you here about what they are doing to control the Pdog problem in Colorado?

Saskatchewan has the only Prairie dogs in all of Canada and they are protected here. They are about 90 miles south of me and not to far from the Montana/Saskatchewan border. The last time I saw the PD towns they were huge.

The only way that they would be out around here is if they had snow shovels.
Do you have much snow left down speedy creek way?

It was melting and there wasn't a lot left but we got more today...

Ground hogs are out here! Son has already harvested 2 with his Henry 22.

Good shooting there, I can still remember going out with my Dad shooting coon's and Gophers. Thanks for the memories.
