I truly did not know this!

Las Vegas Churches accept gambling chips.

This may come as a surprise to those of you not living in Las Vegas,But there are more Catholic Churches than Casinos.

No surprisingly, some worshipers at Sunday Services will give Casino chips rather than cash when the basket is passed.

Since they get chips from many different Casinos, The Churches have devised a method to collect the offerings...

The Churches send all their collected chips to a nearby Franciscan Monastery for sorting and then the chips are taken to the Casinos of origin and cashed in.

THIS IS DONE BY THE CHIP MONKS.

Vince, I really think you need to get out to the range a little more often.

Yeah I know mate...I only got to the range 3 days last week...Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our Clay Target Club had it's annual two day shoot...my mate and I started at 7am and got off the range about 4pm each day.

Really enjoyed myself even though I was totally knackered at the end of each day, mainly because of my injured back/tailbone. Temperature averaged 33*C (91*F) for all days, so it was hot to say the least. Methinks it is going to be a hot Summer this year given that we are only in the first month of Spring.

I actually thought it was pretty good. In fact, I still half believe it. If you ever go to Las Vegas and use an ATM at a casino, you might be surprised. They only disperse one bill - a Benjamin Franklin - and you get three choices.
