Was going to post this but found it was already done. Oh well here's one of the news articles for it. Besides finger prints all ammo bought thru the mail has to go to a dealer now.

As for the gang-banger side of things. Don't think it's going to help. I've worked with current and former gang memebers. They will come up with a position that goes and buys their ammo for them. Or they will get into reloading. It will be someone who is clean cut and does nothing but buy ammo. If they can they will make him a "good old boy" and go to the local shops not Wal-Mart and the likes. I worked with a former gang recuritor you would never knew he was in a gang until he told you. This will be a simular position.

And .22 shells are covered, that just sucks.

None of this sort of legislation works.............that has proven over and over again in all sorts of countries, including mine. But one has to remember what the hidden agenda truly is...................and that is disarming everyone over the long haul under the guise of crime bills, anti-terrorism...............and if that does not work, your health and the environment.

Reloading will be on the hit list and in fact it already is. It will be another loop-hole that the government will eventually say has to be plugged.

For some time now I've been printed and giving up ID etc for any ammo purchased in L.A. incorporated zip's, and, we can't get ammo mailed to us.

Fat lot of good it does keeping thugs away from the stuff.

This is just a growing blanket of the L.A. ammo restriction that has been in affect for a while now.

And Makwa is right.

Untill We wake up and get these clowns out of office you can rest assured the onslaught of morons in the country will stop at nothing to reshape it into their own private version of what they think is good for everyone.
Ya know, like coddling crooks, letting then out of jail early due to lack of funds (but no lack of funds for stupid legislature like the ammo bans and global warming intiative's), reverse descrimination and bougs reperations.

It cant. Although it may catch someone who cant legally own or posess a firearm or ammo. (months or years down the line after a pencil pusher finally gets a "hit" on a computer that says said person has bought ammo) Our govt at work.

I find it truly amazing that the "actors" who make millions of dollars portraying characters who deal death and destruction to countless people on screen (Arnie, Danny Glover, Bruce Willis and etc.), and usually with weapons that law-abiding citizens can't even dream of owning, are so quick to to go to great lengths in denying those same citizens and moviegoers the right to the legal and legitimate pursuit of their Second Amendment rights.
