There has been lots of high wind and tornadoes all across the South Eastern US this past week. Here is what a gun club member found North of Denton TX while cleaning up after Monday night's storm. Almost 4 inches of the barrel is inside the tree. Looks like the gun faired better than the tree.

wow what a find. truely a shotgun sent from heaven!!! new stock a bit of doctoring of the barrel and she will be good as new.

Thats tough but I don't know if it will ever see the field again. Most likely a very interesting decoration for a den or display. Incredible!

I did ask him how much he wanted for the gun. I figure a new barrel and stock and it will be good to go.

Guns DO kill...............trees.
As the tree dries out it will shrink into a tight grip around that barrel.....MMmmm what kind of furniture could you make outa that anyway?
