I wanted to let people know about this freeware photo editing software. Its pretty nifty. I usually use Photoshop for my editing needs but I heard good things about picasa and decided to try it out. Its available at:

It offers the cool bells and whistles of a normal editor but it has a couple new things. There is a general "I'm feeling Lucky" button you can press to have it auto-analyze the pict and auto-adjust it... it does a surprisingly good job. Thats not to say everything is made better but its a fast way to try changes.

Anywho I thought i would pass it on, its a nice way to clean up digital images.

Yup thats Google's Development team for you. They really like being lucky or something

There are several "Auto Adjust" buttons for Brightness, Contrast... color levels... etc etc. "I Feel Lucky" just toggles them all on and it really does work pretty good. Maybe I'll post an example.
