I still say hang tight.
Be ready for a fight, but the guy has stated over and over again, that he supports the Supreme Court's decision on the Second Amendment.
The Attorney General CAN'T go against the Constitution and the Supreme Court.

I think that we will see things like the Brady crap coming up, but not for a couple of years.
In that time, if us guys do our jobs, more conservatives will be voted into Congress, and will stop the anti-gun stupidity.

Obama has too much on his plate the next couple of years, than to piss off us gun owners, and start a War over here in the States.

yeah but i am sceered he is gonna try a end run, you know while we are bugged over the economy try to slide something through, OR even worse yet to pay for the economy he will raise the taxes on them to 500% oh wait he supported that bill before...

And you forget all his underlings...They could propose a bill, ram it through the Senate and the House and all he has to do is sign it. That doesn't take too much time for some idiot socialist lefty to draft a bill and for him to just sign it...He could even asign someone to just that job... Mad

Liberals are well below snakes in my food chain, and I won't doubt it a bit, if the low life's try to pull something like what you folks say they will.

The only reason that I think like I do, is because of the War and the economy.

We will see what happens, but for sure, I will be the first to put an "Impeach Obama" bumper sticker on my truck if they pull any crap.

The only thing you need to know about this is the record, the voting record speeks, not the words of a proven liar. Just get a double handful.

It is like the Clinton range closings, they used land fill formulas as applied to shooting ranges to show toxic lead levels. In the regulations themselves, active shooting ranges were to be left in operation without need for closure and cleanup, not so a land fill. It is what happens when you are focused on the end result that you are detrmined to effect, you cheat the due process or regulations. Expect the worst and a lot of "if you don't like it, sue me."

Such as his choice for VP, who boasted during the elction that he wrote the original Klinton "assault weapon" bill. He's the slimiest of the slimy liars in DC. They're gonna need to create a new staff position for him, someone's gonna need to follow him around and scrape up the slime trail he leaves everywhere he goes.

Morax, that is exactly what Rahm Emmanuel (sp?) indicated in a recent speech. His feelings were that the economic crisis was an opportunity to pass more extreme forms of legislation, although, he specified areas other than firearms.

OTOH, the Presidency has the effect of moderating extreme viewpoints and producing policy that has some political consideration. Past elections have shown that the antigun position is not conducive to re-election for those in Congress. Sure, we can expect some leftists attempts to restruction sectors of our society, but, they can't push too far too fast. So it may be with our first Arab president, Obama.
