Why not the dishwasher? Wouldn't that work better with the water shooting up and down on the brass? What could you put the brass in to hold it from bouncing around? Question

Gidday GSPKurt...how are you mate?

Now, the brass...well you could try sand, but that would clog up the dishwasher. Laughing

Maybe put them in a lingerie bag like the ladies use to wash their "smalls".

I had to read the entire thread to see what this was all about. I gotta admit, I laughed myself silly. I would have never thought of using any kind of washing machine to clean brass cases. The thought did strike me at one to to do so as I have cleaned shotgun shells in a washing machine using one of those mesh bags to hold them, and after they were air dried, were good to go. But, brass? NoNo NoNo NoNo

A brass tumbler & media is all I'll ever use.
Keep it coming...

Maybe, but think about a dishwasher- it even heats the cartridges, er, dishes to dry them!

Hi, Vince! Thanks for the welcome!

I may have to start watching the thrift stores and yard sales for a portable dishwasher to test this theory. We just put a brand new dishwasher in the house- I'd get shot with one of my own handloads if I used that one! Shooting
