My son and I are headed to Southern Illinois for some R&R before he goes back to college on Monday.

Forecast is for rain overnight with dropping temperatures. Wintry mix a first light becoming partly cloudy during the day on Saturday...I cannot wait to get into the flooded timber in the morning and the flooded corn after lunch tomorrow!

We'll post an update later! Very Happy

Saturday was as advertised a Perfect day for Ducks! Four hunters limit out!



Sunday was a blue sky day...We had two land in the spread and swim off about 10 minutes before legal light, but did not get another in the hole the rest of the day. Lot's of stories told though so it was not a wasted day.

I am supposed to do it again next weekend but cold snap looks to freeeze up all the water this week. This may be it for ducks.
