Well finally broke it in Very Happy . I hunted our main gun season and never got a shot with the shotgun, all the deer were out of range and when I did get one in range there was always something that screwed the shot up but I did manage to get a button buck this morning at 160 yard's with the TC and 240 grain XTP's behind 100 grains of Black Horn 209 . Entered at the base of the neck and exited through the off shoulder ( dropped like a sack of potatoes ) . Thats 4 with the muzzle loader this year I don't no if I will get back out again or not , either way it's bin a great muzzle loading season this year Very Happy

Congrats, shrpshtrjoe! Great looking and shooting rifle! I hope my deer hunting season is 1/2 as successful as yours. Its a late start for me but work was hectic right up until Christmas.

I tried a few different bullets in the TC this weekend to see how they did I shot 245 grn Powerbelts /250grn hornady SST sabots/ 250 grn TC Shock Waves sabots / and Berry's Plated 250 grn Muzzle loading sabots. It averaged 2 1/2" groups @ 100yds with all of them the Powerbelts were a little better at around 2' and all virtually had the same poi. I used 90 grns of BlackHorn 209. I'm pretty Impressed with this Pro Hunter. Now Hopefully I can see how these bullets perform on deer our early muzzleloader opens next week Very Happy . They sold the property we leased last year Sad . I just picked up another small spot thats in a good area hopefully it will produce..

shrpshtrjoe, thanks for the update. What happen to the land you could hunt deer on 365 days a year?

There not doing the paperwork for the LOA . I don't want to complain about it to much .I don't want to loose the property all together.
