We used to have a recipe section here but it got broken on an upgrade last spring. Been waiting for someone to fix it but no-one did. I started writing a new one but never finished it. I'll dig around and see if anyone else has got one ready for this software.

One of my favorite burgers is a dill (you can use regular or herb's as well) havarti moose burgers.

Note: Since moose is pretty lean i put the cheese inside two thinner pattys and put them together, slightly pushing the ends to bind them. If not using lean game or if you are using regular beef, use ground sirloin because it WILL be way too greasy.

For pre-cook seasoning though i use

About 1 1/2lb meat

3 pinches of Emerial's Essence
5 cloves garlic minced finely
half pinch salt
5-6 grinds of pepper
and aprox. 1/4 cup Worchestershire

Mix meat and seasonings then patty into thinner than usual (half of what you'd normally do) rounds and put on wax or parchment paper (trust me, makes life easier!).
Square havarti cheese to fit with aprox. 1/4" of edge left for your patty's so when you put it together you have a normal looking patty.

Cooking should be done as usual.....searing at first....BUT turn heat to medium because one (or all) of three things will happen...
1. Cheese won't melt
2. burger won't get done
3. Cheese will get too hot and you will have a big mess because it will burst out!

This what you are looking for Dimitri? Wink

Enjoy Very Happy

10Ring,

Doesnt surprise me. I think its just because most guys dont cook all the time that women think we cant cook. Women cant cook meat in my book as well as a guy. JMO Laughing

I've got to admit if I had some ground moose around I've aready have started making them sounds tasty Smile

Ok I found a recipe module that works... its kind of a plain system but it works. I need to set up the categories but it should be online for use in the next day or so.

Side note: I still have every recipe entered in the previous database and will look into converting them over soon.
