A lot of good arguments have been made about that flag that have given me a lot of thought checking about my belief and understanding of the Stars & Bars. When Lee surrendered the Confederate "Battle" flag was struck. The Confederate national flag was not struck. That flag is the one that should be displayed. Not the "Battle" flag. The "Battle" flag was only used as a means for the Confederate soldiers to find their way back to their side instead of ending up on the wrong side.
My belief still stands.

Thank you Vince. I saw that somewhere else recently and like it.
As for the Confederate battle flag, I like what one Confederate veteran said.
“It was not the flag of the Confederacy, but simply the banner, the battle-flag, of the Confederate soldier. As such it should not share in the condemnation which our cause received, or suffer from its downfall. The whole world can unite in a chorus of praise to the gallantry of the men who followed where this banner lead.”
Carlton McCarthy, Richmond Howitzers
