If we get more than three snowflakes landing without melting here, the dozy pillocks go into panic mode & drive as if their tyres have no tread.
Worse still; they start edging out towards the centre of the road instead of helping keep the snow to the side compacted, with the inevitable outcome of some muppet refusing to move over & the road becoming blocked.
Thankfully snow is also a rarity here these days & I have a truck with the ability to get around when it does snow - unless of course one of the aforementioned tossers has abandoned their car in the middle of the road (I've never once dragged such an obstruction out of the way - honest...).

My daughter was in London a couple of weeks back when it snowed, she loved it. She took a day trip to Newnham (not far from Stotfold) where she will be working and living from next February at Newnham Manor as an au pair, and she said she could see heaps of snow and ice from the train.

Fit a train type snowplow to the front of you truck and sweep ‘em away mate.

summer here,very warm the grass is burning off and instead of being green its more like cardboard tan. oh 4-6" of snow would be glorious right about now.

Thanks tremblay-that OR pic says it all-about the portland area(region of the mentally defective drivers)and the california transplants that have infected the area!The lower pic is indicative of the east side of oregon where I spent my youth! Very Happy

The snow here in SE Washington has all but stopped its two day paint job. with nine inches on the ground all is white and quiet. Tomorrow is forecast to be clear, sunny and cold followed by two days of freezing rain just to cap all this snow.

I hate global warming, but I love winter! Wink
