Well primrose44...I would highly suggest that you NOT throw away your winter coat. Ice ages follow global warming. If you ever look at earth's history you would know.

The earth warms and cools and has been doing it ever sense it's creation and will continue to warm and cool for as long as it exists. the Antarctic use to be a jungle.

We could plant Mangroves on the shoreline to hold the sand from washing away...
Maybe they could keep California from moving north too. Smile

It's too late. They are already there. That's why I couldn't go home to Oregon when I retired.

well its late summer here, and persisting down with rain again..we have been getting good wetting rain almost weekly all summer, its fantastic for grass/crop growth...not so flash for grain farmers trying to harvest...and the maize/corn will be very interesting/challenging if ground is still wet/damp in next month when its time to chop....once first frost hits we have 2 weeks only to get last of it into silage pits, and it will be like cornflakes by then.the leaves all go brown n crispy and fly everywhere.
Im still smiling as the fertilizer is still going on each week,Im busy most days so all is good....we NORMALLY get stinky hot NW winds that dry out ground in matter of days, this season it just hasnt happened.
