Because I never know what I want to load for the days outting I only keep two boxes of ammunition for each firearm. One box warm to hot and one box for target. That means I have a little 0ver 700 rounds in house at any given time not counting .22, 12 gauge and 16 gauge. Seems that I have MY habit under better control then you guys. Now if I could only learn how to keep my inventory caught up.

This is NOT a hobby. Oh it starts out that way. Then it turns into a habit. An extremely hard habit to break as there is no therapist or psychologist that hasn't been bitten. And if they haven't been bitten then they have no clue. There is no halfway house either. Once started you can't quite and you must have more equipment and more guns to load for and that means more equipment ect, ect.... Insane

Reloading sure has given me many, many hours of enjoyment over the years. My reloads have shot some of every game animal and varmint in Sask. I haven't purchased any factory center fire ammo since I don't remember when. Smile

Yes sniper I agree sometimes it almost seems like a "pleasant madness." ..... Very Happy That reminds me Shocked I have a couple hundred rounds of 6mm cases to load for my son.............. Mr. Green Laughing Laughing

WELL! A bit of excitement around our house tonight. Crying or Very sad

About 8:30 P.M., I decided to so some handloading, but noticed the water pressure was low in our bathroon. Hmmm, sez I, checking the dishwasher and other appliances. While I was in the basement, heading to my loading bench, I saw why the water pressure was low. Our sprinkler system had frozen, and the water was running into the basement. Shocked

I were a steppin' and fetchin' to find the sprinkler valve under about 6" of snow, and get the thing shut off. I will not forget to do that again! (Have you ever been absolutely sure you have done something, but haven't?) Shocked AAARRggghh!

I have a great next door neighbor. He has a wet/dry HUGE shop vac, which he loaned me, and held the light , while I made like an snow moving machine, while the wife used every towel in the house, until I could get the vac up and running.

Very little damage to things, although a painting my brother in law did for us is probably kaput, and a framed Ansel Adams (not an original) photograph, too. Crying or Very sad

All better now, although I will have a fairly extensive repair job next spring. Life do happen.... Confused

Oh, Well, Grin and Ignore It! Very Happy

No, Bushy. Somehow that just slid down the priority list. Couple of days, tho, all will be back in place and then... Smile

Yep, Nothing like a house filling up with water from a broken pipe to sidetrack the best intentions....

My wife and I returned at 2:30 AM from the Atlanta gun show to a house full of fogged up windows one time, years back,..... a hot water line broke and filled up the house to the top of the base boards with hot water.....that ain't even on the list of fun things to do with the wife at 2:30AM.
